Stranded Fleet
a simple tower defense game where you protect your fleet from waves of enemy boats. Shoot down enemies, earn gold, and upgrade your boat to get stronger. Face tougher enemies and boss ships as you progress and see how many waves you can survive!
This is my first game, I'm actively working on improvements, feedback and suggestions are welcome!

The game feels a bit glitchy overall. The wave titles keep getting bigger every 10 stages, but they never return to their original size. By the time you reach around level 100, you can’t even see which level you’re on anymore.
The bullet system needs smarter targeting. Right now, each burst (8 shots per round) goes entirely to one ship, even if that ship only needs a few bullets to be destroyed. Instead, the game should calculate how many bullets each nearby enemy needs and split the burst accordingly. For example, if there are 3 ships in range and the first one needs only 2 bullets to die, the next 3 bullets should go to the second-closest ship, and the remaining 3 to the third. That way, each burst is used efficiently and multiple enemies can be taken down faster instead of wasting all shots on a single target.
There’s also some glitchy text at the top of the screen (like in the picture), and the “Wave” number becomes oversized as levels increase — it ends up overlapping other UI elements.
Finally, there should be a button to return to the main menu or upgrade shop without having to die first. After a certain point, it takes way too long to lose just to go back.
